Ebonee Excell, born Jean Louis is a native of the spellbinding nation of Haiti. Her artistic gifts and her African-Caribbean roots propelled her to international success in Europe, Latin America, Canada, the Caribbean and the United States.Started dancing at age 12 Jean Louis Now Ebonee joined La Troupe Bacoulou D'Haiti as a soloist and traveled with the company to Surinam, Canada, France and Spain. In Dominican Republic she has the privilege to dance, teach and choreograph for Ritmos, Ballet Concierto Dominicano and Ballet Folklorico National a Bellas Artes. Also was a member of the hit musical Opera Merengue with world famous Latin Icon Johnny Ventura.

In 1993, she moved to New York thanks to a scholarship from world famous Alvin Ailey American Dance School where she danced with the company at City Center New York. In 1998, she joined the Morgan Scott Ballet NY as soloist and received an amazing review from famous New York Times dance critic Jennifer Dunning stated: Mr Louis stood out from his charisma among the solo dancers and this ten member troupe.

Mr Louis slipping through space like a mercurial sprite tilting into a strong wind! She continues to impress audiences on the East coast adding to her already impressive resume guest soloist and special guest appearances. Her special guest appearances include: soloist for Impulse Dance Studio, Boston, Soloist for Dancer Christmas, Boston College, Principal/Assistant Choreographer for World Dance Theater, Boston and Soloist for Black Door Dance Company, Miami. Then in 1999, Ebonee was born.  But this time, the firebird Oiseau de Feu, has decided to fly higher than ever before.

Encouraged to utilize her craft as a gender illusionist by her friend Afrika, she rapidly started working at the Sound Factory, Two Potato and Monster in New York. In 2000 she moved to Boston where she performed at the world famous Jacques Cabaret, Machine, Chaps, Vapor, ManRay, Axis, Venu. She was the first female impersonator to perform at Boston Roxy Nightclub in three occasions.In 2001 she moved to South Beach Miami where she now resides and performed at Ozone, Azucar, Crobar, Mansion, Versace Mansion, Cactus where she has been starring in her own show for 2 years.

Her growing fan base allows her to perform as JD Ebonee at Jade, Score and at other private parties. But there is no place like her regular home Twist where she has been presenting her stunning Retro Ball for almost 4 years. New Times Magazine, Miami sums up Ebonee's best and recent review, "This diva is perfect, she always gives a superstar performance".

One of her highlights was in 2003 when she appeared on UNIVISION TV to perform as special guest for Latin Mega Star Mexican singer and actress Thalia for the grand stage opening of Los Premio Nuestro- The Latin Grammy Award and also as opening act for American Dance Music Award in 2004.

In North America, she performed in Montreal at Au Cabaret Mado in Latin America at Living night club in Mexico City, Mexico. Currently Managed by Paradigm International, LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ebonee is now working on some exciting new projects.
