Many Ways to Support

ASK your friends and colleagues to donate to HGLA in honor of your birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. Or honor them with a gift and we will send your friends or family a letter describing your thoughtfulness. Gifts in honor or memory of special friends are also listed in our printed newsletter.

E-MAIL or tell five (or 50) of your friends and colleagues about The Center. Have them visit our Web site at www.HGLA.org and encourage them to support us.

THROW a house party or organize a holiday gathering and ask that a donation be made to HGLA in lieu of gifts.

VOLUNTEER... Make a gift of your time and energy.

As a friend of HGLA, you can be a fabulous source of new friends for The Center. By providing us with names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of potential donors, you will help The Haitian Gays and Lesbians Alliance serve even more people as the ONLY Haitian LGBT community center.

We use PayPal as our processor for all donation transactions. You do not need an account with them to donate.

What it Means to be Verified To become Verified, a PayPal member in the United States must provide PayPal with proof that he or she has opened an account at a bank or other financial institution. Because these institutions are required by law to screen account holders, PayPal's verification process increases security when you pay parties you do not know. Please note that PayPal's verification system does not constitute an endorsement of a member, nor a guarantee of a member's business practices. You should always consider other indicators when evaluating members, including length of PayPal membership and reputation scores.
